Job Description: TSTC faculty deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment. Responsibilities include facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship to students.Required Skills, knowledge, and certifications or license
* Demonstrate Up-to-date knowledge of FAA regulatory requirements.
* Be able and willing to mentor and perform training at the highest safety standard
* Strong Interpersonal communication skills and professionalism.
* Demonstrate competency in regulatory requirements for Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial and CFI certifications.
* Current 2nd Class Medical and maintain a current medical during employment.
* Commercial license, and current Certified flight Instructor Certification.
Preferred Skills, knowledge, and certifications or license
Required
* Associate degree in a closely related field and demonstrated qualifications in the technology's teaching discipline.
* Verifiable professional experience may be accepted in lieu of other requirements as approved by the Vice Chancellor who oversees academic programs, or his/her designee.*
