In this role as an Environmental Engineer, reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will provide guidance to the York, PA operations, maintenance, facilities and support teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements, and to drive continuous improvement in environmental management systems and sustainability. Position duties, in coordination with the Environmental Manager:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field, and four years of related experience, or the overall equivalent. • Knowledge of monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting for: Clean Air Act (Title V Permitting), Superfund Amendments Reauthorization Act (SARA) Tier II and 313, Spill Prevention Control Countermeasure Planning, Preparedness Prevention and Contingency Planning, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits/Stormwater, Hazardous/Residual Waste Biennial Reports, Groundwater Remediation, Resource Conservation and Recovery, U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT). • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to negotiate, collaborate, and foster relationships with regulators / auditors. • Experience balancing and managing multiple projects and changing priorities. • Organization skills to efficiently manage data and records for compliance. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
